GPCPCS online training event

Northamptonshire CCG are working with us (Northamptonshire & MK Local Pharmaceutical Committee) to provide a training session on the GP Referral to the Community Pharmacist Consultation Service (GP CPCS). GP CPCS is a pathway that enables GP practices to refer patients with a minor illness for a same day consultation with a community pharmacist. There has recently been an update to how referrals can be sent so attendance is recommended for anyone who is currently sending/planning to send referrals. Please find attached the flyer for the event and further details below.

The event is aimed at anyone involved or planning to be involved  in GP CPCS, irrelevant of whether your pharmacy is sending referrals already or not and will cover the following:
·         Introduction to GP CPCS
·         Breakout sessions for Emis & SystmOne on how to send referrals
·         Top tips for successful implementation
·         Myth busters
There will also be a panel of experts on the day so any GP CPCS questions you may have can be answered. This includes CCG GP CPCS leads, NHSEI Midlands GP CPCS Programme Manager, GP Practice representation, Local Pharmaceutical Committee representation, Community Pharmacist, Local Professional Network Chair (Pharmacy) and clinical system experts.
