Our Virtual AGM and vote to delay LPC elections

23rd September 2021

Virtual

The term of office for LPC members expires on 31st March 2022 and for the LPC to continue, elections must be held to form a new committee to take effect from 1st April 2022.

Because of the timeline indicated by the Review Steering Group (RSG) about the programme to deliver the future vision of contractor representation and support,  PSNC recently agreed to postpone PSNC elections. The current committee continues until 31st March 2023 and recommends to LPCs that they also delay elections using the same timing.

Every year LPCs are required, under the LPC constitution ( https://blmk-n.communitypharmacy.org.uk/the-constitution/ ), to hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) where the LPC Annual Report and LPC accounts are presented to their contractors. There is also a requirement to have a contractor vote to approve the accounts.

For the second year, our AGM will be held online and will include a special meeting to vote on delaying the LPC elections.
Joining information for the event on 23rd September 2021 will follow shortly.
