Meeting Stuart Andrew MP

Chief Officer, Anne-Marie King met with Stuart Andrew MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, to discuss the community pharmacy contract and the vital role pharmacies play in supporting NHS pressures in his Daventry constituency and beyond.

Gareth Jones and Neil Bhayani from NPA provided national context describing how community pharmacies are delivering accessible clinical care, medicines optimisation, urgent care demand management and prevention in neighbourhoods every day. We also outlined the further potential the sector has to support the wider system if future contractual arrangements enable it.
